Genuine Solutions receive prestigious Queen’s Award
On the day of Her Majesty the Queen’s birthday, Genuine Solutions received it’s greatest honour to date in the form of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise. Selected as one of the UK’s most promising companies in the category of International Trade under the advice of the Prime Minister, Genuine Solutions have now joined an elite few who have been chosen to receive this highly regarded accolade, which comes in the form of a visit from the Lord Lieutenant and an invitation to meet Her Majesty the Queen at a special winner’s reception held at Buckingham Palace.
This is an incredible milestone for Genuine Solutions, and demonstrates what can be achieved with hard work.
Christian McBride, Director, said, “I am totally overwhelmed by this award. It is an amazing achievement and I thank everyone at the company for their hard work. 6 years ago we were operating out of the front room of a house, today we have 4 commercial units, 75 staff and our now going to meet the Queen who has honoured us with an award for enterprise. A very proud moment.”
Bav Majithia, Managing Director also spoke about the achievement. “This is an incredible milestone for Genuine Solutions, and demonstrates what can be achieved with hard work. Personally I am over the moon we have received such an honour, and this can be reflected upon the entire staff as well.”
The award is valid for 5 years, and recognises not only success in the UK business arena, but a dedication to social and ethical practices as well, something that runs through the very heart of the Genuine Solutions Group.
Queen’s Awards presentation
On the 28th of July, the Genuine Solutions Group were officially presented their Queen’s Award by the Deputy Lord Leuitenant Geoffrey Godbold, at their head office in Surrey. The event took place in front of staff, suppliers, VIP guests and family members, and marked the official celebration of what is a milestone achievement for the organisation.
“This award is a testament to the hard work and commitment of everyone at the company,” said Bav Majithia, MD and co-founder of the Group. “A huge achievement for the Group and one that we hope continues to motivate us all to further success.”
The award, comprising of a commemorative glass bowl and certificate signed by her majesty, was presented with a formal speech, including reference to the importance of UK based commercial success in what are difficult economic times.

The award also gave the co-founders a royal invitation to meet the Queen earlier in the month at a special tea for the winners.
