GSUK receive Green World Award for third consecutive year
GSUK has won another Green World Environment Award in the global campaign to find the world’s greenest countries, companies and communities.
GSUK competed against more than 500 other nominations in the Green World Awards, and will be presented with their trophy and certificate at a glittering presentation ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on September 30.
As a Green World Ambassador, GSUK will have their winning paper published in The Green Book, the leading international work of reference on environmental best practice, so that others around the world can follow their example and learn from their achievement.
Christian McBride, GSUK CEO said “It is amazing to once again have been recognised by the Green Organisation for our ongoing commitment in environmental best practice, what makes this even more special is that this is the third consecutive year the GSUK have received a Green World Award as well as being named as a Green World Ambassador.
We are on a mission to save planet Earth, and each year we do all we can to have a positive impact on our environment. We realise that we cannot do it alone, but if we can lead by example, it is our hope that others will join us on our journey in saving our planet.”
The awards are organised by The Green Organisation, an international, independent, non-political, non-profit environment group dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practice around the world.
