Recognised for two Global Good Awards
We are extremely proud to have been named as finalists for two Global Good Awards! The categories in which we have been shortlisted for are Circular Economy and Employee Engagement & Wellbeing – these are two aspects of our business that we take an enormous amount of pride in.
Genuine Solutions has been on a mission to save planet Earth through the recovery, relove and redistribution of technology products for over a decade, to be be recognised for our efforts by the Global Good awards is truly amazing, and demonstrates that a business can operate in an ethical and sustainable way successfully whilst having a positive impact on the environment we live in.
At Genuine Solutions we realise that our people hold the key to our successes – this is why it is so important for us to focus heavily on the wellbeing of our team. Whether it is ensuring they have the best possible working environment, offering career development opportunities, or rewarding them with a range of perks, we pride ourselves on giving back to them the very best we can. We are privileged to have such a fantastic group of individuals here at Genuine Solutions that it really does feel like our very own family. It is extremely pleasing for our commitment to our people be recognised by the Global Good Awards and for them to name Genuine Solutions as a finalist for the Employee Engagement and Wellbeing Award.
It is the ethos of the Global Good Awards that makes these awards stand out from the crowd. They believe that if they are to recognise and reward change across all aspects of purpose driven sustainability and social impact, then they too have to be walking that talk themselves.
They are independent, they’re not tied to any large publishing or event company, which means that their decisions and actions are not influenced by any vested interests or operational restrictions; they are free to develop the Global Good Awards in line with their ethos.
Due to the current pandemic, in place of the scheduled awards ceremony on 16th June, the Global Good Awards will now use this day to announce the top three places for each category (Gold , Silver and Bronze). The winner will then be revealed at an extra special and exciting Winners Lunch on 20th November 2020.
Previous winners of the Global Good Awards include the likes of the World Wildlife Foundation, Canon, Microsoft, Sky, M&S, Tesco plus many more.
We’d like to take this opportunity to also congratulate all the other finalists who have also been shortlisted for this year’s Global Good Awards and wish them the very best of luck on the evening.
